ALLEN, RITA V.JAKONES Saginaw, MI Passed away Friday, June 14, 2013; age 66 years. Rita V. Jakones was born on April 27, 1947 in Saginaw, MI to the late John and Marie (Walker) Jakones. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1966. Rita was formerly married to Charles David Allen, Sr. She retired from Bronner's Christmas Wonderland and H & R Block and she was a member of the Catholic faith. Surviving are a son, four daughters and a step-son: Charles David Allen II (Kathy) of Essexville, Lisa McMann of Midland, April Allen of Shelby Twp., Luanna Allen of Saginaw, Billie Jo Allen of Auburn Hills, and Robert Martin of Ovid; 14 grandchildren, four nieces and nephews, and two sisters: Patricia Denson McGraw Jakones of Alaska, and Kathleen Rhoten of Pennsylvania; and a special friend, Linda Holbrook of Saginaw. Her parents, and a brother, James Jakones, preceded Rita in death. Funeral services will take place on June 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Cederberg Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. Rita's family will greet visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
