Beloved husband, brother-in-law, and uncle passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre. Age 75 years. Son of the late Emil and Baldina (Nieschulz) Scheyko, James was born July 8, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He married Gertrude A. Yeager, his loving wife of 43 years, on May 11, 1979. She survives him. He was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear Plant #3 as a machine operator for 31 years retiring in 1999. James was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was an avid baseball player and enjoyed camping and spending winters in Florida. James loved watching sports, especially the Tigers and Lions. 

Surviving besides his wife Gertrude “GiGi” are a sister-in-law, Marge and Tim Bruzewski, Saginaw; four brothers-in-law, Carl Yeager, Saginaw; Randy and Sherrie Yeager, Saginaw; Scott and Wendy Feinauer, Saginaw; Daniel and Karen Feinauer, Saginaw; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews: and his canine companion, T.J. “Puppy”. James was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, George Yeager.

So sorry to hear this, Jim and his brother in law George were pals during Jr and Sr High, while I have been gone from Saginaw for 50 years I have fond memories of our times together, name a sport, we played it together Rest in peace Jim and George
