I lost my best friend since the 8th grade 11/05/11.  Everyone said rooming together at MSU would ruin our friendship, but it cemented our bond until she died.  We never lost touch with each other.  We would meet whenever Gary and I visited our kids in WA/OR.  Barb and my hubby loved talking conservative politics.  I had visited Barb several years ago in AZ.  I loved picking grapefruit from her tree for breakfast.  Barb was so talented.  She designed a piece of Jasper with a copper bonsai tree with jade leaves for me.  She also designed jewelry.  I will miss and love her forever.
