Survived By: Wife Susie Daughters: Jennifer and Amy. Son: Michael and five grandchildren

Susie called me yesterday, to say that Dan had passed, in the afternoon. He had been a cancer survivor, for many years. Dan and I became friends in 9th grade, at North Int.We remained friends until yesterday. During his life time, Dan was an outstanding athlete, Making All state in football and track. He attended the US Naval academy, Then Capital University. Married Susie, over 50 years ago. He was probably the smartest man I have known. During his life, he sold insurance, became a Lutheran minister, a poet, a filatilist and most recently, was studying physics. We shared many life experiences, and I will miss him dearly.
