When I was twelve-years-old I had a super crush on Pat Kothe, but was terribly shy. I told my sister how I felt, and she convinced me that I should call her and ask her for a date. My sister would bake a homemade pizza, and I could have Pat come over to eat, then take her to a movie. Well, Cindy (my sister) made the pizza and I nervously began rotary dialing the number. As I got to the last digit I froze, and couldn't continue. It was just to nerve wracking. My sister didn't berate me, and we ate the pizza. I never expressed to Pat how I felt, and am sorry to learn that she left us (the AHHS family) so soon. She brought my sister and I closer together, and I am sure she touched many of you in other ways. Mr. Bugbee, you were a fortunate man to have had her in your life.
