I remember getting the email that told me Doug had passed... gee, I wish he had let me know how sick he was! and then his son called a few months later.... He and I dated a few months in high school and I was 'hooked'! what a fun, neat guy.. and then we continued all thru 4 years at MSU off and on.... we both went our separate ways and in 2000 after we had both divorced did again get back in touch. I was in Raleigh for an Oprah event and did have a date, occasionally we'd meet in Saginaw when visiting parents, and we'd email....... he was a great, caring, beautiful man... oh, and might I add... a terrific kisser! ;) miss you Doug! marlene
