College at MSU, Married my husband while he was getting his masters, worked for six years, then started raising a family. I was very fortunate to be able to devote my full time to raising my girls. That of course included full time chauffeuring and a lot of volunteer work at the school and with all the clubs and teams they were on. Since they left home, I have been a lady of leisure. Ken is semi-retired now, and we spend a lot of time at our cottage, and traveling to visit the grandkids. Wow, it's really hard to pick out a favorite(equally hard to remember that far back), but I have a lot of great memories of the three years at AHHS. Football, basketball, (and the bus ride to games), all the other sports we went to. The plays, the clubs, the parties. The strict dress code. Remember a few guys being sent home at the beginning of the year for bleaching their hair over the summer? How about a couple of guys sent home for not wearing socks! Girls couldn't wear slacks. Where were our civil rights!? Oh that's right.....we didn't have any! Those were such carefree and easy days. Too bad we didn't know it.
