Update 8/17/2019
Still loving Gainesville Ga and my community. Volunteering at local food bank and mentoring a 8 year old. Finding time for travel again. Leaving for Colorado with Chicago friends for white water rafting,hiking, biking and all things strenuous. Sept off to my first river cruise in France to see Normandy where my dad was first wounded. They finally sent him home when he was wounded at Battle of Bulge (the minor skirmage they called it) Nov another girls trip to
Hilton Head for our craziness. Our last trip in Cancun had me jumping off cliffs,ziplining etc. I never learn.

Update 9/1/2017
Lots changed in my life. Last August visited my aunt in Cresswind(Gainesville Ga) and fell in love with the community. An active adult community that was meant to be my home. Bought a house that weekend, went home, went to Alaska with friends and sold my house in a week. Poor aunt had me for a couple months while my house was built. So much here: Lake Lanier,Social Singles, cooking clubs, book clubs,kayak and so much more. Entertainment rocks. Google Dean Z ( one of top ten Elvis impersonators in the world). Besides fun Gainesville is a community that really volunteers but still miss emergency squad but so bz. Great Granddaughters:Remy- age 7 weeks. Hope everyone is lucky enough to enjoy this phase of your life. Can't believe I turn 70 this month. Time really does fly.


I have been retired for nearly 7 years. I love working as an EMR(first responder) on the Sun City Volunteer Emergency Squad. I found that I had a calling as a caregiver and was able to take care of daddy(10/11/2012) mom who had alzheimers(1/12/2011) and Geo. Now its just me and I am starting a new chapter that include my friends, family and hopefully travel. I have been a really lucky girl so far and am excited to start this
new chapter in 2013. I want to try and make the 50th reunion too.
